THE FORWARDIAN ARTS SOCIETY
FIRST JURIED ART SHOW
The Forwardian Arts Society
(which is a fellowship for people who love the arts)
will hold its very first Juried Art Show in order to showcase the creativity of local visual artist.
The Exhibition will be held at
The Cheeky Monkey Coffeehouse located at 526 Main St. Stroudsburg, PA
(next to The Sherman Theater)
EXHIBITION INFORMATION:

Submission Deadline: Monday September 20th.

Drop Off Date: Sunday September 26th from 12noon until 3pm.
Final Judging will take place immediately afterwards.

Exhibition Duration: September 27th until October 22nd

Artists’ Reception: Saturday October 2nd from 6-9pm.

Poetry by those to be published in the upcoming issue of our literary and arts magazine called
Forwardian along with some music will be presented during the reception.
Prizes will be awarded during the reception.

Pickup Dates: October 23rd and 24th.

Grand Prize: A life time Passionate Art Lovers’ Membership in
The Forwardian Arts Society
and their work will be on the front cover the next issue of Forwardian.

Second Prize: A five year Passionate Art Lovers’ membership in
The Forwardian Arts Society
and their work will be on the back cover the next issue of Forwardian.

All entries will receive a one year Passionate Art Lovers’ membership in
The Forwardian Arts Society.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Work of any theme, subject, or medium (including Oil, Acrylic, Photography) is welcomed.

Each piece (Limit of Three pre Entry) must be
two dimensional art or photography fitting a 11x14 format.
All work must be framed and ready to be hung.

Since the printed version of Forwardian is in Black and White, a high resolution JPEG of the
original work and (if the work has color) a Black and White Version of the work must be emailed so
the magazine’s editorial staff can determine if the original translates well.

Forwardian also offers an online version of its magazine and the work presented in this format will
be in its original colors.

A head shot and a 15 word bio must be provided by the artist or photographer along with an
optional website, email address, or telephone number shared with the public.

FREE WILL DONATION
There will be a free will donation accepted during
The Artists' Reception on Saturday October 2nd
benefiting the publication of the next issue of
our Literary and Arts Magazine "Forwardian."
