| HOW TO BECOME A PART OF SOMETHING WONDERFUL We would like to invite you to be a part of a new literary and arts magazine. We seek meaningful poetry, inspiring stories, and captivating images. For consideration for your work to be included in our literary and arts magazine, here are our submission guidelines. Photographers and Visual Artists: 1. Send us up to 3 of your best images. You retain the rights and we will note the image is copyrighted. 2. JPGS of B&W images only at 300dpi. 3. We need the title of the image and photo/image credit will be given. Writers of Short Stories, Essays, Novels, etc. 1. Short Stories and Essays may be up to 1500 words in length. 2. Novelist are encouraged to submit their work. However, they will be presented in a series of 1000 to 1500 word installments. Please tailor your submissions accordingly. Poets Send us up to 3 of your best poems up to 20 lines. You retain the rights and of course you get the byline. Everyone: 1. A biography up to 15 words along with a current photograph is required for consideration to be published in “Forwardian.” However, if a current photograph is unavailable, we will be willing to arrange a time and place to take your photograph to accompany your bio. If you wish, a website, email address, or phone number accessible to the public can be added to your bio information. 3. Our deadline for our Second issue: Wednesday September 15th 4. All submissions are subject to editorial review. We reserve the right to reject any submission we deem not appropriate for the publication. 5. You may submit your work to The Forwardian Arts Society or Pocono Jazz and Poetry. YOUR FINANCIAL SUPPORT WELCOMED PATRONS We also have a special Patron Listing for those who are able to contribute $20.00 toward our endeavor. These supporters will have their names along with a 20 word or less statement. PAGE SPONSORS Page Sponsors receive a link to their Website on www.forwrdianartssociety.com and www.poconojazzandpoetry.com and a listing of their name or the of their organization at the bottom of a page along with a 100 word statement to be published in the magazine. These individuals are those who would go out into the community to drum up financial support to cover the cost of printing our magazine.
